Brunswick Academy - Fifth Grade Summer Reading Program

Students of Brunswick Academy entering 5^th grade are required to read two books during the summer prior to their return to school. One selection will be a class selection read by all students on their grade level. Students are required to have this book with them when they return to school in the fall. The class will discuss this book and complete a written evaluation during the first week of school. The title for this is Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo.

The second book will be chosen from the reading list below.  Have your child choose a book he or she has not read before. This book will be used for a book report during the first  grading period (but needs to be read before school starts). The book report will be assigned after the first week of school.
