Brunswick Academy PTO welcomed Betsy Q, a well known children's educational entertainer, on Friday, April 18th.  The Betsy Q. concerts are "participatory."  April 13-18th is the National Week of the Young Child!  Brunswick Academy Lower School was surprised with a private concert during the day and a concert was open to the community on Friday night.

Brunswick Academy Kindergarten celebrated Pajama Day!  Their creative celebration of the Letter J, for Jammies!! They read the Napping House by Audrey Wood with Mrs. Jean Grizzard, Headmistress.  Of course, the children had a special PJ parade!

Brunswick Academy Kindergarten and First Grade celebrated March 3rd in a special way!  March is the month for Dr. Seuss's birthday. Cheryl Clarke started our celebration at 9:00 am with each teacher presenting their favorite Dr. Seuss book.  Kindergarten and First Grade gathered to hear a special presentation of Diffendoofer Day by Cheryl Clarke.  Kindergarten continued the celebration by asking parents, grandmas and grandpas to read to the classes.  That was one of the best storytimes we have ever had!

Brunswick Academy Kindergarten visited Citizens Community Bank in South Hill.  The Kindergarten is studying money.  After they presented the employees at Citizens Community Bank with their special Money Song, the students were given a special tour by Melissa Brooks, Vin Montgomery, and Mrs. Clary.

The Brunswick Academy Kindergarten classes paraded in their ORIGINAL Spider Shirts. A special Trick or Treat was presented to Mrs. Jean Grizzard, Headmistress. Just the right start to a fun day!
