New Gym Floor Dedication

Brunswick Academy held a very special dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of its new wooden gym floor on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. This wooden floor has been wanted for over forty years. The student-athletes of the past have always dreamed of playing on a wooden floor, now it is possible for all future athletes to have this opportunity. As a result of generous donations and numerous hours of planning over the last few years, the dream of Brunswick Academy having a new wooden floor became a reality.

Many thanks to the Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation, Dr. and Mrs. Hall Squire, the Brunswick Academy Land Company, the Brunswick Academy Board of Directors, and the Brunswick Academy PTO and Athletic Club. The Hermie and Elliott Sadler Foundation is dedicated to raising autism awareness and promoting research for a cure while also supporting initiatives that improve educational opportunities for children and their families. The new wooden floor has the engraved puzzle piece that represents autism in honor of current Brunswick Academy student, Halie Sadler.
