Underclassman Student of the Month

Congratulations to Naomi Rose Sadler for being named our Underclassman Student of the Month for March!

Naomi, a junior, is the daughter of Hermie (Class of 1987) and Angie Sadler of Emporia. She has two sisters, Cora (Class of 2015), who is part of the Upper School Faculty and is the Varsity Cheerleading Coach, and Halie (Class of 2018), who is the school’s volunteer library assistant.

Naomi is in the Brunswick Academy Honors Program and also studies Dual Enrollment Precalculus through Southside Virginia Community College. She serves as the Latin Club Vice President, the Junior Class Historian, and is a member of the Honor Council. In addition, she has been a member of the Student Council Organization since her eighth grade year.

Throughout her years of attending Brunswick Academy, Naomi has participated in athletics heavily. Since sixth grade, Naomi has been a part of the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. This past year was her first year on the varsity cheerleading team. Last softball season, Naomi was named the VCC Conference Player of the Year, and this year, she was selected as a captain. Her extracurricular activities include playing travel softball for TopHand Foundation in Emporia and being a member of Girl Scout Troop 420.

Recently, Naomi has committed to play Division 3 softball at Randolph-Macon College. She plans to study Psychology on a Pre-Physical Therapy track in hopes of attending graduate school to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
