Brunswick Academy is proud to announce our March 2022 Senior Student of the Month: BriAnna Nicole Alexanders. BriAnna, a senior, is the daughter of Michelle Alexanders of Emporia and Griffin Alexanders of Freeman. She is the niece of BA Alums Sam Griffin (’74) and Sandra Griffin (’76). BriAnna has been involved with cheerleading at Brunswick Academy for seven years. Most recently, she served as the senior captain of the Varsity Cheer squad. Throughout her cheerleading career at Brunswick Academy, BriAnna has received the Most Improved Award, the Sportsmanship Award, and the Coaches Award. In addition to cheer, she also played JV softball in the 10th grade and received the Sportsmanship Award.
As far as future plans, BriAnna plans to attend Southside Virginia Community College next Fall. She has also committed to giving back to her Viking family by filling the role of Assistant Cheer Coach for the 2022-2023 season.
