Congratulations to Christian Alexandra Williams for being chosen as our May 2020 Underclassman Student of the Month!

Christian, daughter of Brian (Class of ‘86) and Traci Williams, is a Junior at Brunswick Academy. She has three siblings; her younger sister, Carson, is a Sophomore at BA.

Christian is a successful student in Brunswick Academy’s Honors Program, the most challenging academic curriculum. In addition to a Liberty University Online Academy class this Junior year, she plans to further challenge herself during her upcoming Senior year by enrolling in several Dual Enrollment classes through Southside Virginia Community College.

While academic achievement is Christian’s top priority, she is committed to a variety of extracurricular activities. During her Sophomore year, Christian served as Vice President of the Spanish Club. Currently, she fulfills the duties of the Junior Class Secretary. Furthermore, Christian volunteered her time during her Junior year to serve as the Morning Greeter for Mrs. Judi Daniel’s Preschool class.

In addition to extracurricular activities at Brunswick Academy, Christian has devoted a great deal of time and effort to the sport of volleyball. She has participated in this sport since the 8th grade and is a current member of the Brunswick Academy Varsity team.

As if Christian is not busy enough, she also works for M.C.’s Kids, a daycare in South Hill, Virginia. She thoroughly enjoys working with the kids there and loves her job. This experience has helped guide her to her future career plans. After graduation in 2021, Christian hopes to attend Virginia Tech, Longwood University, or Liberty University to study Elementary Education and to eventually earn her Master’s Degree.
