Congratulations to Meredith Paige Lucy for being chosen as our Underclassman Student of the Month for April!
Meredith Paige Lucy, daughter of Jeremy Lucy (‘92) and Angie Lucy, is a Junior at Brunswick Academy. She has one sister, Abbie, who is in the 7th grade. Meredith is enrolled in the Honors program and also studies Dual Enrollment PreCalculus through Southside Virginia Community College. Meredith’s high academic performance earned her the distinction of serving as a Junior Marshal this year. Currently, she serves as the Junior Class Treasurer. Meredith has been an active participant on Brunswick Academy’s Varsity Cross Country team since 8th grade and earned the Most Improved Award. An avid dancer since the age of 3, Meredith was instrumental with the creation of Brunswick Academy’s new Dance Team this past year. In her spare time, Meredith volunteers her time with the Dance It Out studio in LaCrosse and the Brunswick Byways Visitors Center. After graduating from Brunswick Academy, Meredith plans to attend Radford University, James Madison University, or Old Dominion University in hopes of eventually attending Graduate school to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
